Rumipos.com, Indramayu, Minggu, 25/10/2026 — Syaefudin detained by West Java prosecutors over alleged DPRD allowance corruption causing state loss of Rp18.7 billion while Indramayu Regent Lucky Hakim apologized to voters of the Lucky‑Syaefudin pair and affirmed continuity of public services.

Syaefudin was taken into custody by the West Java Provincial Prosecutor’s Office on Minggu, 25/10/2026 in connection with the case of suspected misuse of housing and transportation allowances for DPRD members from 2022 to 2025.
The case is being processed against him in his capacity as former Speaker of Indramayu DPRD for the 2019‑2024 period.
The initial detention period is set at 20 days at Kebonwaru Detention Center in Bandung.
The investigation continues and the suspect status does not imply a conviction.

“Saya minta maaf kepada para pemilih paslon nomor 2, Lucky‑Syaefudin, di Pilkada Indramayu 2024 kemarin atas peristiwa hukum ini,” kata Bupati Indramayu Lucky Hakim to the press, Minggu, 25/10/2026.
He expressed regret and explained that his earlier silence was intended to respect the legal process.
Lucky also assured that government duties would be supported by the regional secretary and line agencies.
He urged regional staff to stay focused on their responsibilities, especially serving the community.
Lucky stated that public services of Indramayu Regency would remain uninterrupted while the legal proceedings unfolded.
He called on regional apparatus to maintain normal operations and continue delivering services to residents.
The government’s commitment to public welfare stays unchanged, he added.
The case involves two suspects, Syaefudin and a person identified as IH, who were detained on the same day.
The alleged financial loss to the state amounts to approximately Rp18.7 billion.
Officials have warned that the investigation is ongoing and no final verdict has been reached.
