Rumipos.com, Makassar, Selasa, 22/09/2026 — Bone emerged as champion 1 in the 2026 Sulsel Governor Cup after defeating defending champion Sidrap in a penalty shootout.
Governor Appreciates Sportsmanship
Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman handed the trophy and prize money to Bone’s regent Andi Asman Sulaiman during the final at BJ Habibie Stadium in Parepare.
He praised the participants for upholding fair play throughout the tournament.
“Selamat kepada Kabupaten Bone selaku juara Piala Gubernur 2026. Saya ucapkan terima kasih atas sportivitasnya. Alhamdulillah, bisa selesai dengan baik,” said Andi Sudirman, Governor of South Sulawesi, Selasa, 22/09/2026.
Parepare Mayor Tasming Hamid, Sidrap Regent Syaharuddin Alrif, Sidrap Deputy Regent Nur Kanaah, Enrekang Regent Yusuf Ritangnga, Tana Toraja Regent dr Zadrak Tombek and Forkpimda officials were present.
Awards
Bone received Rp200 million and the trophy. Sidrap got Rp150 million as runner up. Jeneponto and Wajo shared third place with Rp50 million each.
Best Player Zulfikar Lutfi from Sidrap received Rp10 million. Top Scorer Arman from Wajo was honored. Best Goalkeeper Muh. Nasrullah from Bone got Rp10 million.
Best Coach Gilang from Jeneponto received Rp10 million. Best Referee Basir got Rp10 million.

Future Outlook
Andi Sudirman hopes the spirit of sportmanship and football development will continue to grow through inter‑regency competitions and invited fans to join the next edition in 2027.
